The team consists of experienced Food Technologists, Chemists, Microbiologists, Chemical Technicians, Plant Pathologists and Plant Physiologists and specializes in the development of functional edible coatings. 

Bin Zhong –Technology Director

Bin has been with the company for over 15 years and is a respected leader within Mantrose-Haeuser’s research team.

As an active member of the American Association of Confectionery Technologists, Pennsylvania Manufacturing Confectioners Association, and the Society of Cosmetic Chemists, Bin remains involved with industry members and current technologies.

Bin’s background encompasses extensive participation in leading the development of specialty coating formulations for the food, cosmetic, and pharmaceutical industries.  Bin’s knowledge of applications in his field of expertise is an invaluable resource for Mantrose.
